We love science fiction, escape rooms, the Avon Free Public Library, and impromptu Nerf battles (not necessarily in that order).
I am a small business management consultant with over fifteen years of experience solving problems and providing solutions, helping my clients become more organized, efficient, productive, and profitable. I spent a decade serving the professional beauty industry, authoring a popular blog and two best-selling career and business guides: The Beauty Industry Survival Guide and Salon Ownership & Management: The Definitive Guide to the Professional Beauty Business.
When I’m not helping small business owners save and make more money, I run The Dread Machine, a dark speculative fiction magazine.
I’m a network and automation engineer with nearly two decades of system administration and network management experience. I currently work as a Senior Product Manager for a major software corporation, but I also support the technical community by blogging and providing customized solutions through GitHub.
I love overcoming obstacles, automating processes, and designing creative solutions to unique problems. Nothing makes me happier than accomplishing “impossible” tasks.
